🇨🇦 Canada: Regional Status
Most of Ontario and Quebec are experiencing a “quiet and routine” school day with a less than 5% chance of weather-related cancellations.
Atlantic Canada

Nova Scotia (Strait Regional Centre for Education): Classes Cancelled at all schools due to local weather conditions. Worksites and garages are on a delayed opening until 10:30 AM.

Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education: All schools and worksites closed.

CSAP (Conseil scolaire acadien provincial): Classes cancelled for the Metro and North groups.
Ontario

Toronto (TDSB/TCDSB): Open. Buses are running normally.

Durham Region (DSTS): No zone cancellations. While 18 individual route delays were reported early this morning, the vast majority of buses are operational.

Simcoe/Grey-Bruce: No widespread cancellations reported for today.
🇺🇸 USA: Closures & Delays
In the United States, the focus has shifted to the Southeast, where overnight “black ice” has made secondary roads and bus stops hazardous.

Roane County Schools: Closed due to a forecast of black ice forming overnight.

Anderson County Schools: Closed (Traditional Snow Day) out of an abundance of caution regarding road conditions. Daycares at RBT, SSE, and EBW remain open.
North Carolina

Cumberland County Schools: 2-Hour Delay for students and school-based staff. Buses will also run on a 2-hour delay; breakfast will not be served.

Johnston County Public Schools: 2-Hour Delay for all students and staff due to lingering icy patches.
Virginia

Spotsylvania County Public Schools: 2-Hour Delay. Morning (AM) ECSE preschool classes are cancelled; afternoon classes will begin on time.
