Immediate Deadlines

• St. Paul Public Schools (MN): Tomorrow, Friday, February 20, is the priority application deadline for all grades (Pre-K through 12) for the 2026-2027 school year.

• Philadelphia (SDP): Interim reports for Term 3 are due today, February 19, in most SDP schools. Parents should check parent portals early next week for updated student progress.

• NYC 3-K & Pre-K: The application window is currently open. Families have until Friday, February 27, 2026, to submit choices via the MySchools portal.

Testing Windows

• Texas (TELPAS): The testing window for the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) for grades K–12 officially began on Feb 16 and remains open through March 27, 2026.

• New York (Regents Prep): While the June Regents exams are months away, high schools are currently in “Spring Semester Launch” mode following the January testing block. Expect mid-semester “Mock Exams” or progress checks to begin in early March.

• STAAR Field Testing (Texas): Select districts are finishing up the RLA (Reading Language Arts) stand-alone field tests this week.
