Today, Friday, December 26, 2025, virtually all K-12 public and private schools in the United States are CLOSED.

Because this date falls the day after Christmas and within the standard two-week Winter Break, there are no “delays” to report—schools are officially not in session. Additionally, the President signed an Executive Order earlier this month closing the federal government for today, making it a holiday for federal employees as well.
