When the snow starts to fall during the winter months, schools across the country are forced to close. This is due to the cold temperatures and the safety of children getting to school and back. While it’s hard for children to watch the snow fall from the safety of their homes or from the warmth of their school, they aren’t the only ones affected by this closure. Families have to spend time finding childcare, coworkers get behind on their work, and the economy takes a hit from the loss of productivity.
