Yukon Public Schools cancels class Monday, 10 April,2023

Yukon Public Schools announced it would close Monday “out of an abundance of caution” concerning a possible threat.

All classes, activities and practices in Yukon Public Schools were canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date if possible, district officials wrote in the statement.

School officials said a student was identified and apprehended in connection with the possible threat.

All classes and activities will resume Tuesday, but Agnitsch said school campus resource officers will be on high alert.
