Thursday school closures: Snowstorm cancels school in Washington, Idaho

(SPOKANE, Wash.)

With a Winter Storm Warning in place for much of eastern Washington and north Idaho, many school districts are choosing to delay or cancel classes on Thursday, Dec. 1.

The forecast calls for a foot of snow or moreĀ for areas near Spokane. The snow is expected to continue into the afternoon, meaning travel may be difficult for both the morning and evening commutes.

Spokane Public Library locations and Spokane County Library District facilities are also closed.
